Types of Plants you can Cultivate In Minecraft



Wheat, carrots, and potatoes

1. Collect seeds and collect vegetables.



Sometimes, you can get wheat seeds by breaking tall grass blocks or tilling them. You can find potatoes and carrots in the villages, or by killing zombies.

3. Wait until the plants are fully established.



When fully grown, wheat is mostly yellow-brown. Carrots and potatoes are harvested when the heads of the plant begin to appear. While you wait, get on with other chores. You can also use bone meal (crafted from bones from skeletons) to plant crops immediately.

4. rnBreak the crop block to obtain your profit.



Replant the seeds, carrots, and potatoes until your farmland is full, and then save the remainder as profit. Here's what a healthy farm will look like:

Pumpkins and melons

Collect seeds.



You can find both pumpkin seeds and melon seeds in treasure chests that are hidden in abandoned mine shafts. In addition, naturally found pumpkins can be turned into seeds. Melon seeds can be crafted from slices of melon, which can get through trading with locals.

The farmland has to be adjacent to dirt or grass and not wheat. The seeds are then transformed into stalks, which eventually turn into melons and pumpkins. To plant a large number of melons and pumpkins, you'll have to plant an area of farmland and then a row of dirt with water pools scattered across.

Using bone meal on seeds speeds them into mature stalks, but they don't yet bear fruit. Melons and pumpkins take a while to grow. Make sure that the plants have plenty of room to grow and also complete other tasks while you wait.

4. rn Harvest the crops.



Don't break the stalk blocks Instead break the pumpkin and melon blocks that appear nearby. You can make pumpkin seeds from pumpkins you have grown. If you've planted melons, breaking them up produce melon slices which can be eaten or turned into seeds.





Sugar cane

Find (or make) a place that holds water.

The seeds are only found close to lakes or pools. They can only grow on dirt, grass, or sand.

2. Place canes on top of the water in the same way you would place any other block.

When a patch of reeds is placed where it can expand, it grows vertically until it's about three blocks tall.

The top section of the stalks can be broken down into pieces by cutting the blocks in the middle. The reeds on the bottom begin growing again.

A massive tree can be constructed by planting four saplings of the jungle in a square and feeding bone food to one.
