How do you make an Iron Golem in Minecraft and what they're used for

To guard a village create a Minecraft Iron Golem



To defend your village and its inhabitants from any threats, build a Minecraft Iron Golem. These mean-looking guards can protect the buildings and villagers from hostile creatures in Minecraft (opens new tab), such as zombies or skeletons or even raids by villagers. Contrary to the majority of mob in Minecraft Iron Golems can actually be crafted but do also spawn naturally in villages. Here's how to make them and how they function.





How to make an Iron Golem in Minecraft




To create an Minecraft Iron Golem, you don't require a Crafting Table like you would to create the majority of items in the game. Minecraft Instead, you need to place blocks in a specific arrangement.

If there aren't any connecting blocks (other than the floor it was on) then placing the Pumpkin last will trigger an Iron Golem spawn. Repeat this process as many times as necessary to build your own army.

Iron Golems have solemnly sworn that they will defend players and villagers provided you don't engage in a violent attack. They're classified as neutral mobs. Unlike animals like pigs, cows and the like, Iron Golems will leave you be but will attack you if you attack them.



When an Iron Golem is created inside the village it will then slowly move around, patrolling the area. If it's not in a village, it will gradually move to the nearest one, and likely fight any hostile mobs along the way. Iron Ingots are a great way to heal Iron Ingot can be used to heal an Iron Golem that has taken damage.
