Thứ trưởng phụ trách hậu cần của quân đội, Tướng quân đội Dmitry Bulgakov, sẽ được điều chuyển sang vị trí khác vào ngày 24 tháng 9, theo Bộ Quốc phòng Nga. Một đại tá 60 tuổi được bổ nhiệm thay thế ông ta.

Ông từng là giám đốc Trung tâm Quản lý Quốc phòng vào năm 2014 trước khi kế nhiệm ông Bulgarov. Trường Quân sự Kalinin Suvorov của Liên Xô tốt nghiệp năm 1980.
