What exactly is an Beanie?

A lot of collectors say that they have no feelings of attachment towards the items in their Beanie collection. Instead, they invest endless hours looking into the market and learning its intricacies. Additionally, they realize that their passion isn't exactly jolly, and that some people might consider them insane.

Vintage Beanie Babies can be worth the price, based on their condition and rarity. Some collectors can offer as high as $50,000 for an original 1992 Ty Beanie. Some collectors will be willing to pay more than $25,000 a vintage 1995 Lefty the Donkey.
