Minecraft Dungeons Launching May 26

If you're like me, and you'd like to purchase at least ten copies , without having to beg Executive Producer David Nisshagen or Game Director Mans Olson for them, Minecraft Dungeons will be available for pre-order on select platforms. If you're already on Xbox Game Pass you can also be playing on day one by installing the game prior to its launch on your PC or console starting today.

You might be thinking "What is Minecraft Dungeons?". I could ask you that if you have been living under a brick, but I'd prefer to explain: Minecraft Dungeons, our new action-adventure and dungeon-crawler-style video game, lets up four players fight to take on Arch-Illager and his relentless swarms of new-and-nasty mobsters every level is action-packed at a time. In addition to doing this in the company of your friends, you also have all forms of weapons, artifacts, and enchantments at your disposal. Is Minecraft Dungeons a Minecraft game? Minecraft Dungeons is an all-new standalone game that is set in the Minecraft universe, and has the majority of its blocky charm and challenges. It's possible that you won't be able to place blocks or build a home out of cobblestone, but you're very much an adventurer exploring the Overworld.



Are there any character classes in Minecraft Dungeons? Minecraft Dungeons doesn't have classes. In true Minecraft spirit, it's all up to the player to create their own playstyle and identity by the items they carry. You are what you wear!



Xbox Game Pass will include Minecraft Dungeons. The Standard Edition of Minecraft Dungeons will be included in your Xbox Game Pass membership, with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members getting access to both consoles and Windows PC. Xbox Game Pass members can also save 10 percent off related Minecraft Dungeons DLC and add-ons!



Does Minecraft Dungeons include multiplayer? If so how do you play? Grab your controller and dive in! Minecraft Dungeons supports up to four players in both local couch co-op and online co-op modes. However, we don't provide you with a real couch!



Will Minecraft Dungeons support cross-platform multiplayer? In the beginning you'll be able play online multiplayer with friends on the same platform. We're working to bring cross-platform multiplayer across Xbox One, Windows 10, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in the near future through an update that is free after the game's release.



Are there matchmaking options for online multiplayer? No. No.



Do the missions differ from one game to the next? Yes! Each mission in Minecraft Dungeons consists of procedural content as well as carefully designed elements that are tied to the mission's objectives and narrative. This means that while certain missions will remain the same, the routes that you take, the mobs and treasure you find will vary each time you play them.



Are there DLC? Yes! NFO.SO With Minecraft Dungeons - Hero Edition you'll be able to access two new DLC packs for free. We'll soon provide more details.



Why can't I pre-order Minecraft Dungeons for all platforms? Minecraft Dungeons will launch across all platforms upon launch, but is not available for pre-order on all platforms. Keep your eyes on the official Minecraft Channels for the most recent updates.
