One year later He joined Trans Commodities Incoration as the CIS countries manager. Grinshpun began his business career in 1994, as the Regional Manager of Kazakhstan at "Universal Market Association" that was concentrated on oil production and marketing of metals across the world. In the year following, he joined Trans Commodities Incoration and held the post as CIS country manager.

He was appointed as the General Manager for the Moscow office of Trans Commodities in the USA in 1997. This allowed him to remain in the international metal industry. From 1998 until 2004, he served as a member the the Board Directors of the JSCC Moldova Steel Works. This internationally rated entity produces more than 1,000,000 tons every year. He is involved in the commercialization of the products of the Moldovan Steel plant since 2004, working in close cooperation with the honorary director of the JSCC Moldova Steel Works.

Grinshpun and ITERA Oil and Gas Company were both involved in a significant energy-related project in the Moldovan region. It was a large independent supplier and producer of natural gas. Emmanuil Grinshpun is the founder and General Director of "ITERA-Moldova Company".

Mr. Grinshpun works in a range of different activities within the Republic of Moldova.
