Avanos Mediacal Cortrak 2 The devices were made available between April 1st of 2016 to January 1, 2022. Avanos Medical feeding tube They're used to aid healthcare professionals place feeding tubes in the stomach or the intestines and bowels of patients.
feeding tube placement The incorrect placement of the nasogastric tube and Nasoenteric tube is the cause of more than 60 injuries and 23 deaths since 2015.
feeding tube placement The recall is used to update the label of the device, in order to instruct users to verify that the tube has been correctly placed prior the time of delivering nutrition.
