Bernhard Burgener Monday's meeting of FC Basel Holding AG's Board of Directors of FC Basel Holding AG was successful. Burgener and Degen along with Karl Odermatt & Peter von Buren and Peter von Buren, voted in favor of the former owner. According to a statement by the holding company the owner asked Degen for his portion to be transferred to Basel Dream & Vision AG.
When it does in doing so, the Board of Directors relies on an agreement with the law firm which permits Burgener to transfer its shares to those of the minority shareholders on the same conditions. According to the Board of Directors, this drag-along rights is preeminent over Degen's prior-sale right.

Degen would like to exercise his right of first refusal to 16.4 million Francs. Burgener is currently unable to transfer his 80 per cent stake to Basel Dream & Vision AG because of a superprovisional injunction.
