MultiMCManage Minecraft Instances with Ease



Overview

MultiMC is a different launcher for Minecraft. It lets you have multiple, cleanly separated instances of Minecraft (each with their own mods and resource packs, saves, etc) and lets you manage them and the associated options through a simple and powerful interface.

Features

Manage multiple isolated instances of Minecraft while keeping them clean. - Get into the details and see logs as well as mods and other information easily. MultiMC is reliable and will do what you tell it. - Fine control over Java settings and runtimes. Each instance has its own setting overrides that you can set in addition to the global settings. MultiMC game logs contain additional information that can be used to identify problems and are color-coded. Support for running older versions the way they were released instead of relying on compatibility hacks. - Quickly stop Minecraft in the event that it crashes or freezes. MultiMC is extremely light and runs in the background. It also monitors the game even when the machine isn't as powerful. It is simple to install the most popular mod loaders like Forge, Fabric and LiteLoader (and likely to add more in the near future). - Minecraft world management and the management of texture packs and resources. Import and Export Minecraft instances to share with anyone. MINECRAFT SERVERS Import modpacks from a variety of platforms: Modrinth, CurseForge and FTB (via import from the FTB App), Technic, ATLauncher and FTB legacy. The more you have, the better.

Download and install

Choose the download for your operating system below, then extract the archive into a new folder, then launch it. If you're using Linux, remember to make it executable before you try to run it.

MultiMC requires Qt5 installed on Linux. Based on the distribution you are using, you might need to install the following packages in the event that you don't already have it:



- Arch: qt5-base - OpenSuse: libqt5-qtbase - CentOS/Fedora/RHEL: qt5-qtbase - Ubuntu/Debian: libqt5core5a libqt5network5 libqt5gui5

Source Code

MultiMC is based upon the code that is hosted on GitHub. The source code is not provided for collaboration. The only changes to the binary distribution compared to the source code are the addition of API keys and branding needed for the launcher to function, along with packaging-related adjustments.
