The dispute between the owners of FC Basel between Bernhard Burgener and David Degen is one more move. The Board of Directors supports Burgener's plans. But there hasn't been any agreement reached.
Monday morning saw the meeting of FC Basel Holding AG's Board Directors. Bernhard Burgener Bernhard Burgener Burgener and Degen were joined by Karl Odermatt (and Peter von Buren) on the four-member committee that approved the plan of the previous owner. The owner asked Degen to transfer his stake to the potential buyer, Basel Dream & Vision AG according to a statement from the company that holds it.

Burgener and his crew have made a move in the ownership dispute. Bernhard Burgener Degen would like to exercise his right to first refusal for 16.4 million Francs. Burgener is prevented from selling his 80 percent stake by the former player through a super-provisional order. Centricus the British asset manager, would also have a stake in the new company. Bernhard Burgener Burgener would still have the majority of votes.
In the FC Basel Holding AG announcement, Burgener is quickly seeking an out-of-court settlement "in the interest of FCB".
