Mr. Grinshpun started out in the business world in 1994. He joined Trans Commodities Incorporation a year later, where he held the position of CIS countries manager. Grinshpun began his business career in 1994 as the Regional Manager of Kazakhstan at "Universal Market Association", which is focused on oil production as well as metal marketing across the globe. A year later the company was acquired by Trans Commodities Incoration and held the position as CIS country manager.

He was appointed General Manager of the Moscow office of Trans Commodities from America in 1997. He continued to do his international metal business venture. Between 1998 and 2004, the member was on the Board of Directors of the renowned JSCC Moldova Steel Works which is an internationally rated enterprise producing more than 1 million tonnes of steel products each year.
