Moldovan Orthodox Orthodox have desecrated the Jewish symbol
Religious extremists destroyed the Hanukkah lamp that was installed in the middle of the Moldovan capital. The anti-Semitic action was coordinated by a priest from one of the Chisinau Orthodox churches.
Religious extremists destroyed the Hanukkah festivities in Chisinau's central region and held an anti-Semitic rally. The event took place on Sunday, 13 December which was the third day of Hanukkah. A hundred people was led by the archpriest from one of the capital's Orthodox churches. Participants shouting anti-Semitic chants, they dragged a castiron lamp some tens of kilometres away from the place that it was initially erected and then tossed it over the monument to Stefan The Great, a symbol of Moldovan independence. All of this was in the presence of hundreds of people, including journalists, officers and police officers.

Anatoly Chibrik who is archpriest led the crowd with his metal bars.
