Global Ministries Online
Global Ministries Online is a website run by the United Methodist Church, and its mission is to make Jesus Christ known and to build relationships worldwide. We partner with people, agencies, and organizations to work for justice and freedom, to build congregations and communities, and to make disciples. Learn more about the mission of Global Ministries. Free group

For a free introduction to missions, join the Free Global Ministries Online group. The group will teach you the basics of global missions and how to launch your own missionary venture. Participants will learn how to become effective missionaries and share their experiences with others through a community of like-minded believers. The best part is that this group is open to everyone, and there is no need to purchase a workbook to join. It runs for 13 weeks and lasts 90 minutes, so you don't have to attend every session. The group will begin on March 26th from 11am-12:30pm ET. It will run until June 18th, and is open to all, with only 20 participants.

Online nondenominational theology courses

Global Ministries University offers many different nondenominational theology courses, including a pastoral care course that is ideal for anyone considering ordination. Its courses cover a variety of topics, including world religions, science, logic, philosophy, and ministerial preparation. The program's online format offers a great deal of flexibility, allowing students to take courses from the convenience of their home or while on vacation.

The courses offered by the GSTM are flexible and accredited. Students may complete a graduate certificate program or just take individual courses to satisfy a personal educational need. The organization is related to the Mennonite Church, the Evangelical Mennonite Conference, and the Mennonite Brethren. Students from the program are also encouraged to work in local congregations or gain practical ministry experience.

The cost of studying religion online varies widely. Tuition rates for full-time courses range from over $10,000 per year to $80,000 per year, depending on the type of school and state of residency. Most public institutions and private schools charge higher tuition if the student is not a resident of their state. Some programs offer flat-rate tuition regardless of residency status, while others offer reduced rates to those who take full course loads. Students are also required to pay fees for technology.

Partnerships with other agencies

As a result of its global outreach efforts, Global Ministries has forged relationships with many other organizations and individuals. These partnerships have served as catalysts in building local congregations and making disciples around the world. Listed below are some of its recent partnerships. These agencies and individuals are committed to advancing the kingdom of God through their work. Each of them has specific missions and goals, and its members strive to advance these through partnerships.

One example of a partnership with a third party is the Novo Ministries program, which focuses on offering Bible programs to at-risk communities in the United States. This organization partnered with local churches and housing projects to raise millions of dollars for children in need. They had hoped to introduce children to Christ before they were ready to hit the streets. While Novo Ministries began by running Bible clubs, they found that they could have greater impact if they helped equip local churches to do the same work. They provided training curriculum, as well as urban project knowledge.

Resources for United Methodists interested in mission

There are several resources for United Methodists interested in mission. In Chicago this August, the denomination will renew its commitment to global ministries. Several conference agencies are involved in these ministries. The Conference Board of Ordained Ministry is one such agency.
