How to Get Involved in Global Ministries Online

Free group

The Free Global Ministries Online group is a great way to get connected with other Christian leaders. It is free to join, but a $20 workbook is required to take advantage of the group's resources. Group sessions last 90 minutes and are open to anyone who is interested. The next group begins March 26 at 11am-12:30pm and will continue until June 18th. Participants do not have to be members of the group, but they must be at least 18 years old.

Partnerships

Partnerships for Global Ministries Online are a way for local congregations to support the work of these missionaries throughout the world. Monthly financial support allows these ministries to reach people all over the world. The Global Ministries website provides a link for each Partnership page. It's also a good idea to share Partnership news with your Region/Conference and the entire church. Once a Partnership is in place, it's time to explore the details of the partnership.

To begin, make sure the partnership is based on shared faith. In the Theological Statement, identify the key scripture or idea that you'd like to share. Draft the language together, incorporating the input from all parties. Be sure to emphasize that this partnership is a covenant of faith. Lastly, establish mutually agreed-upon goals and strategies. Include approximate timeframes and target audiences. Then, start writing!
