A new Minecraft game has been released for debut at the Xbox Summer Games Fest - one that allows you to construct structures and command your allies to fight enemies. Xbox Games Studios has showcased a brief video of Minecraft Legends at the event and also announced the action-strategy game will be expected to be released in 2023. It was developed in partnership with Blackbird Interactive. It will include an online campaign coop as well as a competitive multiplayer game mode. Dennis Ries, the game's executive producer, has said that the studio will release more details about them later this year.
In Minecraft Legends, you'll need to defend the Overworld, with its rich resources and natural resources from an invading force of piglins. You'll need to form alliances and take on strategic battles against the invaders. Ries said that the "game will have a very thrilling campaign that will bring many surprises for both experienced and new Minecraft players alike." The studio has only shared some details about the upcoming game for now however, and promises to reveal more about it soon.
