The “Flock to Marion 2022” excursion is indeed a tremendous venture to have raised funds for the invaluable work done and yet to be accomplished and beyond that, it's a genius way to get public concerned in issues that they care about. One can solely hope more of this type of travel excursions will pop up for the good of our Earth. Just having a voyage out on sea is one thing, but providing such a wonderful package deal to educate/inform the caring inquisitive thoughts is a winner. Then, with the uncertainties and all taken into consideration, positive has brought BirdLife South Africa into extra light as how they managed to drag this tour off…. So very many vacationers with all of the preparations. But, when the heart is into one thing, success shall observe.

An unforgettable trip that provided insight into the necessity of a mouse-free Marion Island and exposure to the cruel beauty in which the seabirds survive. Would have beloved to have been on this trip. Maybe at some point I may have this opportunity. Great conservation and tourism initiative by BLSA. It is superb and heart warming that caring folks exist – and especially those who are persevering to fix the wrong that culminated through the years, devouring our precious Nature.
Being capable of sail into the “Roaring 40’s” and experiencing the tough sea situations was one other unforgettable expertise.
