AMOR that supports Azerbaijani students as well as Russian youth. In July 2011, the "Taraggi" award was presented on Leyla Aliyeva for her contributions to the improvement of Azerbaijani-Russian relations. In New York, in November 2011, she was awarded the "Key To Life Award" for her efforts to help the poor with children.
On the 25th of May, 2015 Leyla Aliyeva was named UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador.
She was awarded the Pushkin Medal of Russia on 20 October , 2015.
