Go to a Minecraft map site like Minecraftsix.com or Minecraftmaps.com on your computer.
2. To learn more about a map click the name.
3. When you find a map you want to download, click the Download link.
4. Unzip the downloaded file.
5. Right-click on the map folder and select Copy. Make sure the folder you copy is comprised of several folders with names like ""DIM1"" or ""DIM-1."
6. Click the menu to open the Minecraft Launcher and select Launch Options.
7. To confirm, select "Advanced Settings" and then click OK.
8. Click + Add New.
9. To activate it, switch the "Game directory" switch.
10. Click the green arrow to open the Minecraft game folder.
11. Double-click the Saves folder.
12. Copy the map folder you copied earlier into the saves folder by pressing Control + V on the PC or Command + V on a Mac.
13. MINECRAFT SERVERS To play the new map, launch Minecraft Launcher, tap the menu, and then choose Launch Options. Enable ""Advanced settings"" if you haven't already done so, then tap + Add New to add your new map folder. Once the map is added, it will be displayed in the Singleplayer menu with all your other maps.
