Minecraft and The Purge are separate for many good reasons. While the sandbox game of the original definitely allows for a lot of freedom, it's a game mostly for kids which is why The Purge doesn't necessarily slot into. However, the internet can't be controlled. Therefore, someone has created a video that combines both.
We're not saying that you don't make The Purge in Minecraft. Everyone has their own method of playing the game. For instance, the person who is finished with mining the entire Minecraft map after five years, or the people who recreated MS Paint using Redstone. A person even built an PC that was modeled after the Nintendo Wii, which manages to run Minecraft in glorious 4K. It's a game with something for everyone. This is one of the most bizarre, but still very enjoyable videos we've ever seen.
Forge Labs is a company which creates long-term challenges in games. plussoc They invited a handful of Minecrafters to come together for a week of building incredible homes and living their best lives. The Purge rules were put into effect when the week was over. This meant that everyone was able to do whatever they wanted, but, most importantly, crimes.
The latest video from them is barely two hours long , so it's quite an investment. However, it's somewhere between being extremely captivating and deeply disturbing, and a very realistic look at how humans might behave if things were to go wrong.
One of the most interesting aspects of the ruleset was the fact that players who passed away before the purge started would lose one heart forever. This meant that players could not upgrade their equipment without having to pay for it. It's a great timepiece and we suggest it if you're working.
