Warcraft III Reign of Chaos Also known as War3 or WC3, is a real-time strategy video game that was released by Blizzard Entertainment on July 2, 2002. EXTREMEMINING It is the sequel to Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and the third game in the Warcraft Universe. An expansion pack, The Frozen Throne was released in 2003.
Warcraft III contains four playable races: Humans and Orcs, which were previously seen in Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness as well as the Night Elves and Undead, which are new to the Warcraft mythology. The single-player campaign of Warcraft III is similar to StarCraft's. It's told through all four races in a progressively manner. Multiplayer mode allows you to play against other players on the internet instead of against computer-controlled characters, as in the single-player custom mode.

One of the most well-known aspects of WarCraft III, and also responsible for most of it's continued play today is the Modding Community. Maps, which are add-on modules that can be created by anyone, can bring new gameplay and content to Battle.net.
