Minecraft meet-up in Peterborough described as 'awful'
14 September 2015
Parents of angry Minecraft gamers have posted on social media to complain about "awful" queues and a lack of things to do during an unofficial convention.
On Saturday, approximately 4,100 people attended MineVention at Peterborough Arena to meet stars and play games.
However, a lot of people have said they waited for hours to meet idols and eat food and are suing for refunds.
Lisa O'Brien, the organizer, stated that the queues were too long and that she will issue a statement on refunds within the timeframe.
The event, which isn't endorsed or associated with Minecraft developer Mojang, started in Ireland and this was the first time it was held in the UK.
TV presenter

Some shared on Facebook However, they were happy and left with one saying: "I thought you put on a great party for PS15."
Lisa O'Brien of O'Brien Event Management said that she felt with parents because we all have children. JOHN'S BLOG Due to the huge number of people who turned at the event instead of buying tickets in advance, queues were 45 minutes long, she said.
