Are Private Servers Dead

Are private servers dead, especially for those who want an authentic experience in leveling up with 1xp and enough number of players so that they can still interacts with other players. Are there any servers that give this type of experience or are all of them dead



Comparatively to the good old pre-2019 times, they are all gone now.



It's pretty boring, the music scene is dead today, like sure its fine with low pop but it never compares to classic for me .



No difference in population between warmene at all.



Many servers are empty when you go inside or around the world, but just few servers are filled to make it clear ingame. Don't ever believe count of server populations, but see it with your own eyes.



"I would like to see the servers as good as they were back in the past with no changes"



People are a threat to me.



The majority of them don't deserve to play on a private server... why can't players just play on one server instead of following the angry crowd of fresh seekers



Make private servers great again



The freshtards of 10 years old sure are doing their best to kill private servers. If every server started banning freshtards, then private servers could actually start to thrive again.



In general, aside from P2W servers like Ascension and Warmane they really are dead.



The market for private servers has never been more competitive since Classic launched it.



Pre classic was thriving, Blizzard unfortunately won the war.

It is all dependent on the number of players you'd like to have However, the next one to be launched is Kronos 4, i think



If you are looking for something that will get your blood pumping I suggest turtle wow.



It's very similar to the original but it's got a lot of extra stuff that feels like vanilla.



The auction for hardcore will end your character's character when it dies, however the guild is really cool, and if you've played WoW as much as I have, it's great to discover something new.

They're not all dead. I'm also pretty certain Ascension has well over 10,000 concurrent players on their realms , and are likely to see more when their next project launches. Warmane... It has lots of players, but the numbers aren't a certainty. It is possible that some of the servers you might consider "dead" have more going on then the live servers on blizzard.



10000 seems to be the limit



Private servers are falling downhill as players get more and more satisfied with their desire to play. Wow is just too boring to play now that you've spent so much time playing it. Many friends, well-known people have left and leave you in the dust. Wow dad Then you decide to leave as well.



Wotlk is the sole expansion that is being introduced into the pserver scene and it's boring to see this thing every day. TBC isn't that popular and every Vanilla is dying or growing, but there are plenty of hackers and cheaters on those servers.



Other expansions aren't worth a look.



I have my account on Warmane but I do not play anymore, merely collecting points there and sitting afk for months. I'm too lazy to even try 1 character.

The population outside of the vanilla community has remained the same as I've always observed it. The vanilla community is roughly the same size as it was before the numbers were not even known. This is also the case.
