Minecraft builds are a large component of the community experience in the most popular game of all time, which is about punching down trees. There are a lot of amazing things to see. From the functional such as this YouTuber making Pac-Man into an horror show to more traditional like these Civilisation VI cutscene replicas. Mojang occasionally organizes competitions to inspire players, but they are not limited in their by creativity.
Mojang challenged players to create amazing Star Wars-themed things with blocks. Just another wordpress site Ashwood won the competition for his creation of the Vuutun Palaa (a Lucrehulk Class battleship which was in charge during the Naboo invasion in Episode 1): secretly, the most acclaimed Star Wars film.
Ashwood who goes by the name of Gumliii in Reddit, explained that the build doesn't have an interior as of now however they are looking into it. Gumliii made several Star Wars-themed builds which can be seen on their Planet Minecraft Page. They also posted a comment saying that they'll be uploading this one to their page so that you can download it and play with it. Just be aware that it's a large diameter of about 1,300 blocks, and it uses the full height limit of 383 blocks too. It's big.
Other entries include stunning cityscapes and recreations of famous battles and models. If you're looking at them and wondering how on earth people can put these images together, a lot of the more popular ones make use of plugins such as WorldEdit to make things easier. Gumliii worked for two weeks on it. It's still an enormous effort, even using the plugins.

This Lego-built Minecraft piston is an excellent illustration of the complex construction. It can even move, though they didn't create functioning Redstone which is probably the best option.
