Are Private Servers Dead

Are private servers dying, particularly for people that want an original experience with WoW leveling with 1xp and enough population where they can still play with other plays. Is there any server that offers this experience?



Comparatively to the good old pre-2019 times they're all gone now.



It's pretty lame, the music scene is dead nowadays, like sure its fine with low pop but it's not as good as classic music for me.



No population difference in warmane not at all.



Many servers are empty when you go in and out, but very few servers are populated enough to be visible in game. Do not believe that the number of servers is crucial. Instead, take a look at it by your eyes.

Most of them don't have the right to play on a private server... why cant people simply play on one server instead of following the raged mob of fresh players



Make private servers fantastic again



The freshtards from 10 years ago certainly are trying their best to kill private servers. If every server was to ban freshtards, then private servers could actually start to thrive again.



They are almost dead, with the exception of P2W servers such as Warmane and Ascension.



The market for private servers has never been better since Classic launched it.



It was thriving in the pre-classic era, but Blizzard lost the war.

It is all dependent on the number of players you'd like to have However, the next one to launch is Kronos 4.



If you are looking for something to stimulate your blood flow I recommend turtle wow.



It's very similar to the original, but it comes with a lot of extra stuff that feels just like vanilla.



The auction will erase your character in the event of your death, however the guild is awesome and if you've played the game like I have, it's nice to find something completely different

There are many dead players. Ascension is known to have well over 10,000 concurrent players on their realms. I'm sure they will see even more when their new project goes live. Warmane... Although it has many players However, the numbers aren't always clear. It is possible that some of the stuff you might consider "dead" have more happening than the live servers on blizzard.

Private servers are falling down the hill as people get more and more satisfied with their desire to play. After years of playing Wow, it's too boring to keep playing it. You're left behind by many friends and well-known individuals. You could also decide to quit.



Wotlk is the sole expansion being pumped into the pserver community and it's boring to watch this game every day. TBC isn't being played and every Vanilla is becoming pretty much dead or just flourishing but there are hackers and cheaters are playing on those servers.



Other expansions aren't worth considering.



My Warmane account is active, but I haven't played in a while. I've been collecting points and sitting in limbo for months. Too lazy to even enter on 1 character.

Other than the vanilla community, the number of people has remained relatively stable, as I have observed it. The vanilla community is about the same size as before the numbers were not even known. So, it's not changed much either.
