Today, we bring you another work of art in real-time that is animated. GoodSirCompany on Reddit posted a cute video of their very first Lego Minecraft stop motion animation. The clip shows a player wearing black armour, running across the floor and battling an inexperienced skeleton. It's a great little work and, while it does have some rough edges, it has a nice smoothness to the fight.



It's also filled with wonderful little details. The fire is one of the most striking elements. It flickers constantly to give the miniature diorama a sense that it is moving. You'll also see an appearance from a suspicious source in the background for those who are keen. Who doesn't love a good cameo?



GoodSirCompany's very first attempt at this, there are some useful comments as well. It's clear that the shadows in background are shifting. However, a reliable lighting source can make a difference. There's also a slight shake in the camera that is likely to occur when GoodSirCompany hits the camera button. As suggested by Slasken06, the shake could be cured by using a pair of wireless headphones to take the pictures instead. You can also utilize remotes. If you didn't think you'd get some stop motion tricks take this as is a bonus.
