These Lenovo Chromebooks Cost $99 (or Less!) for Prime Day

Three Lenovo Chromebooks are on sale at less than $100 for Prime Day, a decent price for what should be a decent Chromebook If you're willing to make an additional purchase.



Our list of the top Chromebook deals on Prime Day usually includes at least one Chromebook priced less than $100. So far, we've seen several and one of them is Lenovo offering several Chromebooks at prices that range as far down to $79, with huge savings up to 68 percent off.

Lenovo Chromebook 3 (14 inch) with Headset Bundle, $89.00 (68%) at Walmart


Are they worth the cost? We think they are worth the cost, but only barely. All three Chromebooks have a Celeron n4020 processor, which is admittedly dual-core processor, but it's few years old. All three have 4GB of memory which is the minimum requirement for the typical Chromebook and all three include 64GB of storage. We've seen Chromebooks with 32GB of storage. However, we've also seen Chromebooks with more than that. If you are using Chromebooks for web-based work the extra space is useful. Things like a touchscreen however, aren't included. ROBINSON IS BACK The Walmart bundle comes with a headset, which is a nice but small extra.



This Chromebook runs Chrome OS. It won't play Roblox or Minecraft like a laptop would. If you have any queries, refer to our story about Chromebooks and laptops.



The screen with 768p resolution is the weakest of the three Chromebooks. It's smaller than most laptops' 1080p screens, but it's still adequate. But don't despair, especially if you already have invested in a technological advancements over the years. Each of the three Chromebooks comes with at least one USB C port, and one with DisplayPort over USBC. This lets you connect an external display to the Chromebook and increase the screen's size and resolution.



How? You'll require a USB-C hub or dongle from our list of top USB-C hubs for your Chromebook or laptop and can cost an additional $20-$40 depending upon what you buy. You may also find that the 768p display looks just fine to your eyes, as these are tiny, portable Chromebooks.
