Microsoft has warned that hackers are exploiting a critical flaw in the software used by large tech companies around the globe. They are associated with the governments of China and North Korea, Iran, North Korea, and Turkey. So far, hackers from foreign countries appear to have played around with the vulnerability, which is found in Java-based software known as "Log4j" that companies around the world use to log data in their applications. A senior US cybersecurity official said they have no evidence that federal networks had been compromised by the vulnerability. The Log4j flaw could affect most of the internet.
