An AI was Trained to Play Minecraft with 70,000 Hours Of YouTube Videos IGN

OpenAI, the artificial intelligence research company created by Elon Musk has taught an AI to play Minecraft just as humans. It took only 70,000 hours of watching YouTube videos.



The blog post explains how researchers used "Video PreTraining" (VPT) to create a neural network that could play Minecraft. This included collecting more than 2,000 hours of data from actual players playing Minecraft. It also included precise keystrokes as well as mouse movements. raw video.
