YouTuber for Minecraft Technoblade has died at the age of 23. His family has confirmed this in a touching goodbye video that was posted on his behalf.



The video, entitled "solong nerds", was posted to his 10 million followers. It showed his father saying that he was "the most amazing child anyone could ever hope for".



The US internet celebrity gained fame by livestreaming and uploading videos of his playing the videogame sandbox.



Technoblade announced to his fans in the year 2000 that he was diagnosed with cancer.



The father of his son read his farewell message hours before his death. It began with "Hello everyone, Technoblade here." If you're watching this. I am dead."



He then revealed that his real name was Alex. He recalled the time he fooled viewers into believing his name was Dave.



He added, "Thank you all so much for supporting my work over the years," he added. "If I had another hundred lives I'm pretty sure I'd prefer to be Technoblade each time as those were the happiest years of my life."



The online star who won Minecraft tournaments, and had thousands of fans talking about his funny antics while playing the game, explained in a fundraising video that he had received radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and a limb rescue operation after developing an infected tumor that was painful.



He died from sarcoma, which is an uncommon bone and soft tissue cancer.



In August 2021, he revealed the diagnosis of cancer. He said that he initially believed the pain it was causing was due to injuries from repetitive stress from excessive gaming. He was diagnosed with cancer after his arm started swelling.



It is not known much about Technoblade, who kept his real identity concealed until the end. However, his avatar on the internet was a photograph of the crowned porker.



He has 10.8 million viewers on his YouTube channel, where he bio reads: "I play video games often. Although I may not be the most skilled, I have hot elbows..



'Strategizing in heaven'



Fans, fellow gamers, and YouTubers have paid tribute to him on the internet following the news of his death.



"I'll never forget the day I met Technoblade," recalled J Schlatt. "I went to work early in order to participate in an Minecraft tournament with Technoblade. I didn't know how to play... but the dude managed to guide us through the entire tournament.

YouTuber Captain Puffy, aka Cara, tweeted: "Rest In Peace Technoblade. He always treated me with pure kindness. I was never excluded from anything." He could not have been more kind!"



She said, "Thanks for everything you have done for the community. It will never be the same without you."



Tommy Innit stated that "Technoblade" is an icon. From being a huge fan, to becoming one of his closest friends, I don't know how grateful I am to have had the privilege of being in his life. I can tell he's planning in heaven on how to beat God ..."



"I've been watching Technoblade's films for the past hour," added Ludwig Ahgren. "He was so witty and humble even in the most difficult of circumstances. He will always be a role model to me."

I will miss him so very deeply."

Technoblade's father thanked fans in the video that he sent to fans saying: "You meant a lot to him."



He explained that a portion of the proceeds from online purchases for his late son's merchandise will now be donated to charity.



The video ended with a statement from his family, which included the following: "We, the family of Technoblade we wanted everyone to know just how much he adored and respected his fans and colleagues.



"From Technoblade's first days online, he was always strategizing ways to entertain and reward his audience - giving away online prizes as well as encouraging good sportsmanship and most of all sharing his Minecraft adventures for fun and entertainment.



"Even after his success the man remained his good-natured modesty and played with a delightful balance of self-confidence and self-deprecating humour."



Minecraft lets players create their own the world of imagination by digging holes to collect blocks.



Recent updates to the game have been utilized to help children explore and build their professional skills and expertise and also to find solutions to real-world issues such as flooding.



Ted Nevison described Technoblade to be "effortlessly funny" and "endlessly talented". "Gone too quickly," he said.



Bad Boy Halo also paid tribute, adding: "Words can't express how we will miss you. The lives you've touched and the impact you've had on them will last forever."



Slimecicle stated that Technoblade's "personality and sense of humor, and the ability to express himself clearly were a true source of inspiration for Technoblade and many others."



"Thank you for everything you gave to the world. You left too soon. You will always be a legend."
