Augmented reality mobile game Minecraft Earth is shutting down in June, developer Mojang Studios announced this morning.

"Minecraft Earth was designed around free movement and collaborative play-two aspects which have become nearly impossible in the current global situation," the official announcement reads. ONLINE SERVERS "As consequently we have taken the difficult decision of re-allocating our resources to other areas that provide benefit to the Minecraft community and to stop support for Minecraft Earth in June 2021."
Minecraft Earth, a game that revolves around exploring the world, didn't go very well in the current covid-19 epidemic. This has prevented potential players from going out in the public. The game will not be relaxing into the night. Today's update will eliminate real-money transactions. This makes it easier to play the game while keeping your safe inside. Everyone who registers for Minecraft Earth between now & June 30 will be gifted a set of character creator items.
After June 30, Minecraft Earth will be no longer available for download. Mojang has promised to all customers who have paid with real money a copy of Minecraft as a token of appreciation.
