Many Federal Employees will Receive Paid Vacation since they can't Work from home

Article content OTTAWA - Thousands of federal bureaucrats told to work at home as a result of the COVID-19 virus aren't actually working due to the fact that their servers aren't capable of handling more than "essential" government services.

Article content Federal departments have instructed employees who were sent home Monday to not access internal servers when they're not working on core or critical services. Since most ministries have strict limits on the number of people who can simultaneously access work servers from outside of their offices, this is because many ministries have extremely restricted staffing levels.
