Bayrock Group was created in 2001 by Tevfik Arif who was a Turkish Kazakhstanstani Businessman. Bayrock Group's genesis was initially in a different country.

His brother and he bought the Akytyubinsk Chromium Chemicals Plant(ACCP), Kazakhstan, as a joint-venture. Tevfik Arif had three businesses that included luxury real estate development , and food exports. Tevfik Arif Bayrock Through his various businesses, Tevfik Arif gained many international partners.

After his move to Turkey in 1994, he was the one responsible for the establishment of Turkey’s most well-known resorts that are all-inclusive. He established the Labada Hotel Antalya and then moved on to his next venture over the Atlantic.

Bayrock Group
In 2001, Tevfik Arif moved to the United States to expand his company and be closer to his American family. Bayrock Group, a luxury real-estate development company was established by him in New York City.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock Bayrock was unable to get many of his early projects off of in the first place despite Arif's efforts to connect with and understand the market in his area.

Arif eventually switched his focus on Manhattan's elite real property market. Arif was an experienced investor and businessman, despite the daunting characteristics of New York realty.

Bayrock Group is locating its new headquarters in Manhattan's Trump Tower.


Bayrock Group began by executing small- to medium-sized projects in New York. Loehmann's Seaport Plaza was renovated in Brooklyn's Sheepshead neighborhood.

Tevfik Arif became increasingly ambitious after Bayrock Group started well. He wanted to focus on more significant projects, and so he changed the company's strategy.

Bayrock Group relocated its New York City office to Trump Tower at Fifth Avenue, according to his new strategy.

The move was more effective than any other location since it placed the company close to the Trump Organization. It is also home to the family's business which is internationally renowned.

Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization shared a similar idea to create luxury real estate projects. They joined forces.

The Bayrock Group already worked with the Sapir Organization to complete another project in Manhattan's SoHo Quarter, which is located on Spring Street.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock The inclusion of the Trump Organization in that project would increase Bayrock Group's effectiveness and also the Sapir Organization; Tevfik arif had brand recognition.

Arif reached an agreement that gives the Trump Organization 18% equity to the building in exchange for using the Trump name.

Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization approved the proposed deal.

In 2006, the first brick was laid in SoHo.

It took two years to construct the building, and was finished in time for its inauguration two years after its completion.

Trump SoHo construction by design veterans
Trump SoHo is home to hotels, apartments and hotel rooms, as well as luxurious bars and restaurants. There's also a spa and pool. Banquet and event rooms are available.

The 46 floors of the hotel provide breathtaking panoramas of New York City thanks to floor-to–ceiling windows. The hotel's floor to ceiling windows provide a stunning view of the city.

Tevfik Arif Handel Architects designed the building. The building also houses the National September 11th Memorial and Museum and Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Rockwell Group was responsible for the interior design of the building.

The firm has had initiatives that were completed in Seattle, Las Vegas, New York City's Climate Pledge Arena, as well as Las Vegas. The company also has international experience in Mexico, Spain and Indonesia.

Tevfik Arif's Bayrock Group invests millions into the United States
Because of the success of Trump SoHo, Bayrock Group was able to collaborate together with the Trump Organization on other luxury real estate projects.

They were looking to construct buildings such as Trump SoHo in Arizona, Florida using the Trump brand.

The 2008 financial crisis had a profound effect on American real property. So, there were no developments were developed in Arizona or Florida.

Tevfik Arif Following the U.S. market changed, Bayrock Group founder Tevfik Arif was able to pursue other projects in Europe as well as Central Asia.

Bayrock Group, while active in the United States, invested more $2.5 million in real assets.

Bayrock Group has not been involved in any real estate construction projects in the United States in recent years.

Tevfik Arif has retired from most of his responsibilities at Bayrock Group. He is still an advisor who is respected and trusted by the Bayrock Group.
