Minecraft Map Explores the World Of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates

A great Minecraft map can take you wherever you want. Sometimes that's going to be to the world of Bikini Bottom, which is the home of Spongebob Squarepants DLC, and occasionally, it's going to be to the world of Breath of the Wild thanks to some mods. Today's map will take you on a trip through time instead.



Now, we all know that not everyone is into history - it's a bit boring and there aren't enough real dragons for most of us, but that doesn't stop it from being worth celebrating sometimes. This is what the Peace Builders map aims to accomplish, which is an interactive map that follows four Nobel Peace Prize Laureates in their quest to make the world better.



There's a lot to learn here, even when you just watch the trailer. You may not be aware of small details like the name of the award after Alfred Nobel, the man who invented the dynamite. The map includes Jody Williams who fought against mining; Desmond Tutu who helped end apartheid in South Africa; and Carl Von Ossietzky who was instrumental in uncovering the grotesque crimes committed by Nazis.



It's not your standard Minecraft map however it's an interesting choice if you'd like to know more about the story of good people in the world, instead of just those who harmed it. It's all about ed It's also a good way to learn something while playing an online game, which is typically what Minecraft: Education Edition is all about.
