Bayrock Group's journey from the Suburbs To Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group is a luxury real-estate development firm that was driven by Tevfik Arif. It quickly was incorporated into the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

How Bayrock Group Went from Suburbs to Manhattan
Many dream of visiting the United States and live the American dream. But very few are able to make it happen. Turkish-Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Arif was one of them when he moved to America in 2001. He set out to created his company, Bayrock Group.

The Bayrock Group is a luxury real estate development company that operates in and around New York City.

Tevfik Arif Doyen Initial projects were small or medium in size. This included the redesign and the construction of Loehmann's Seaport Plaza in Brooklyn, New York.

Bayrock Group, which had achieved success on the American residential market, was ready to expand. Bayrock Group began to search for big-scale opportunities.

The company, which is owned by Arif, began collaboration together with the Sapir Organization to construct a large new construction in Spring Street in New York City.

Bayrock Group relocated its headquarters in Midtown Manhattan to accommodate the growth of the company.

In the wake of the change, Tevfik Arif and his staff had a meeting with the Trump Organization and also used the Trump Tower as its base.

Discussions were held between Bayrock Group, the Trump Organization after the two companies discovered they had common desires and shared goals.

The two firms formed an alliance, in which the Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group's project in conjunction with the Sapir Organization on Spring Street.

The Trump Organization was then managed by an ex-American president Donald Trump.

E. Trump and Son was established by his paternal grandma Elizabeth Christ Trump and Fred Trump (in 1927).

Donald Trump gave control of the management of his company to his family members in the year 2017 as he was preparing for the White House.

Bayrock Group, The Trump Organization The Trump Organization, and The Sapir Organization were still relatively new to the New York City real estate scene at the time of the partnership.

To boost the project on Spring Street, the founder Tevfik Arif came up with an arrangement that would add an additional brand name and prestige to it.

Two years later Bayrock Group was founded by the Trump Organization as well as the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization. They also launched Trump SoHo in New York City.

Design professionals take control of Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo boasted 46 stories of exclusive restaurants, bars, banquet and event venues and an outdoor pool, a spa section apartment, as well as hotel room rooms.

Residents and visitors of Trump SoHo may enjoy a breathtaking views of New York City through the structure’s floor-to–roof windows. They were installed on all levels.

As the three organizations behind the structure were focusing on the highest quality, Handel Architects was entrusted with designing the exterior of Trump SoHo.

Handel Architects is a respected organization with an assorted portfolio. Handel Architects is a reputable firm with a diverse portfolio. National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City and the Rosewood hotel residence in Abu Dhabi are among other projects.

The interiors of Trump SoHo were created by Rockwell Group. Rockwell Group has been responsible for the design of numerous extravagant bars, hotels, and cafes all over the world over the years.

Their works include the Tower Hotel and Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, India and the 93rd Academy Award show.

Bayrock Group & the Trump Organization expand the partnership
Trump SoHo was a great immediate success, which led Bayrock Group to expand their collaboration with the Trump Organization.

Their vision was to build structures similar to Trump SoHo in Arizona and Florida in the same manner similar to the ones of Trump SoHo. In exchange, Trump Organization would get 18 percent equity. Tevfik Arif Again.

Bayrock Group, and Trump Organization had everything. However, the 2008 financial crisis, which severely shaken the American real-estate market put an end to their plans.

The economic crisis affected the American housing market very much. The Bayrock Group founder Tevfik Arif chose to leave his undertakings in the United States. He decided to move to Europe or Asia, where his career started many years before.


Bayrock Group's Tevfik arif has retired from active participation, but he continues to be a trusted advisor for different divisions.

Bayrock Group has not been involved in any recent real estate developments in the United States.

However, the firm was active and had made investments in real-estate assets that were worth more than $22.5 million.
