Minecraft: All of Denmark virtually recreated

The entire country of Denmark has been recreated to scale, within the virtual world of Minecraft.
The entire country has been faithfully replicated in the immensely popular style of building blocks by the Danish government.
Danish residents are encouraged to "freely move around Denmark" and "find your own private area to build and take down".
Around 50 million Minecraft copies have been sold.
Ealatorre
Also known as a "sandbox" game that allows players to exist in a virtual space, by using building blocks to construct everything from basic structures to complete worlds.
Minecraft was created by Markus "Notch" who is a Swedish independent developer.
According to the Danish government the maps were created to be utilized as a tool for teaching. It recommends "virtual field excursions" into remote areas of the country.
Flat roofs
There are no goals to achieve other than continued survival.
Many players are interested in recreating real-world locations.
An intern from the UK's Ordnance Survey team created 86,000 sq. miles (2244,000 sq km) of accurately mapped landscapes last year.
The Danish project is more ambitious with buildings and towns reproduced with greater detail.
According to the team that was behind it the project, the only difference was that the roofs were not flat.
It has also banned the use of one of the most common tools that is the dynamite.
