Notes

There once was a young girl name London. She was always told she could move mountains, she just had to put her mind to it. London was smart in her own way. She had street smarts and school smarts, even if she wasn't the smartest once in her grade. London was very focus on what everyone else had to say about her, and not what she though about herself. That was all about to change.

I was walking into school on a Monday morning and the sky looked what I felt. There were dark clouds preparing for thunder and a light rain coming down. As I stepped it to the school taking off the hood of my rain jacket dripping wet, I was thinking of everything else I would rather be doing. My back hurt from my very heavy backpack filled with books with all the homework we had to do. I knew that we would just get more tonight. Why couldn't the teacher just take pity on us and now give us homework for one night. I normally get home at 5 and finish homework at 9:30. I put my backpack in front of my locker and put the books I had in my bag into my locker. My best friend comes up to me, "hi London!"
"Hey Daisy!"
"Any thing new? What you do last night?"
"The usual, Homework. What class do we have first?"
"English I think."
