Pastor of faith, faith healer author, and television host, Chris Oyakhilome who is referred to by his fans as Pastor Chris is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy, located in Lagos, Nigeria. He has inspired millions around the world with his distinctive telling of the Word of God.

Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the youngest son of elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the pioneers at the Assemblies, of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome clan. Oyakhilome family, who instilled her divine grace in her son very early.

The whole family is actively engaged with the LoveWorld ministry. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several international best-selling gospel musicians.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by CSO, has chosen to follow in the footsteps of her father and share the Word of God the world. She is an accomplished, award-winning gospel singer and an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies in Edo College. After a scholarship was awarded to study architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) and he was awarded a BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. He was at Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to be a minister and servant of the Lord.

Chris: Pastor Chris: A Mentor
The Man Of God was an undergraduate student at the time He founded the church that would soon grow into one of largest worldwide. His small prayer group, 'Youth for Christ' would eventually become one of campus' most well-known groups. These would go on to form LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.

Under the leadership of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. Chris Oyakhilome LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa to the the world, 24 hours a day, all the time on free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations across the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence throughout Pastor Chris's native Nigeria. The ministry has two healing schools located in South Africa.

Music and Gospel Music form an integral element of worship. Pastor Chris is adamant Christ Embassy Churches that a choir be trained by Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these vocal talent go on to enjoy successful solo careers under the direction of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.


The Future African Leaders Foundation(FALF) is an organisation which is focused on the ongoing amazing work of Pastor Chris. A philanthropist who was passionate Pastor Chris Oyakhilome established the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI), Non-profit, non-governmental, non-profit organization with the mission to help the most vulnerable individuals as well as communities in the poorest regions and countries around the globe.

The Man of God created a number of NGOs to provide vital services and bring hope for the poor, in need and neglected. COFI is supported by five partners, each of whom are dedicated to improving the standard of living in the remotest areas.

COFI is accountable for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) in addition to the Bible For All Mission. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Each of these groups works to improve the lives, health, and spirits of those most in need.

His charitable organization also provides food for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes in the support of strong communities through COFI, The InnerCity Mission and the development of accountable governance, good governance leadership and sustainable development in Africa as well as other areas that are vulnerable of the world according to the Sustainable Development Goals.
