Pastor Author, pastor, faith-healer, and television presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also known as Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. He is the elder of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace upon her son from a young age.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he earned an BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has the recipient of an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received a call from God to enter the ministry and serve the Lord.

Pastor Chris: The Mentor
The Man of God started what would become one of the biggest church congregations in the world when he was still at university, with the small group of prayer known as 'Youth for Christ', which eventually evolved into one of the most well-known organizations of its type on campus and would serve as the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers around the world.

Under the direction of Pastor Chris, under Pastor Chris's direction, the LoveWorld ministry became a pioneer in satellite television and Christian programming and production. LOVEWORLDSAT was first Christian television station broadcasting out of Africa all day long on free-to-air channels. In the present, LoveWorld television stations are accessible on satellite and cable networks across the globe.

Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria and South Africa. It also has strong representation in the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa.
