Pastor of the faith, a heaver of faith, TV host, author Chris Oyakhilome. Also known by the people who follow him, Pastor Chris is the president and founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. His unique and inspiring interpretation of God’s Word has inspired millions of people around the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, raised by a loving family and was supported by his parents. He is the eldest of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her divine grace on her son from the age of a child.

The LoveWorld ministry is comprised of the entire family. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several international best-selling gospel artists.

Chris Oyakhilome Family Pastor Chris has two children: Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow in her father's footsteps of sharing the Word of God with the world and is also called CSO, she is a talented gospel singer who has won awards and is a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated at Edo College. He then won a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University. He is a recipient of an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the place where he was able to feel God called him to become an ordained minister to the Lord.

The Man Of God was in the University of Cambridge when he founded the church which would soon grow into one of largest worldwide. His prayer group, 'Youth for Christ,' would soon be one of the university's most popular groups. The group would later to form LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.

Under the direction of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa to the the world 24/7 continuously on free-to air networks. In the present, LoveWorld television stations are available on satellite and cable networks around the world.

Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria and South Africa. It also has strong representations across the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. The ministry has two Healing Schools located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris organizes sessions during the season that allow miracles to take place.

Music and Gospel Music are an important element of the worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir training. Many of the vocalists have been successful as soloists under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's guidance.

The Future African Leaders Foundation(FALF) is an organization that focuses on the continuing inspirational work of Pastor Chris. It is aimed at identifying and developing young, gifted leaders and preparing them for an exciting future by acknowledging and assisting them in their amazing achievements. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, who is a fervent patron of charity, established the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Inter (COFI) as an independent, non-profit organisation that seeks to help the most vulnerable communities and people in the poorest areas of the world.
