Week 40: Bath

It was not the best way to begin the week. We found a leakage from the bath on Monday morning. The water was flowing down the ceiling to the server cabinet, which houses the fusebox, boiler and my rack. I found the router fizzing and dead however we stayed clear of shorting the electrical circuits. top minecraft servers It could have been more serious. The reason was the shower head that was housed in its holster, but left switched on to its lowest setting in order to pour water down through the bath and into the room below.



I had an appointment at 9am with the dentist , so the added stress was not a good idea. I was a bit agitated when I thought about my soggy home under the light of the bright lights but it was good.



I was concerned that the bathtub was leaky. I took out the side panel using a Stanley knife. This proved a waste of time as, as I found, our bathroom was covered in tiles and the bottom was made inaccessible. Great.



My dad came to re-seal the bath and reassure us that everything will be perfectly. It looks like we'll just have to dry out the cupboard and then repair or paint the walls and ceiling at some time.



The boys have been learning all about the Queen at school in preparation for their Jubilee celebration this week. The entire school gathered to have a Jubilee tea party after the school had decorated their playground with blue, red and white bunting. They can both inform me of how old she is, along with other royal facts they've learned.



We bought a Nintendo Switch. H was begging for one for quite a time but it never came at the right time. He was too young. They were out of stocks. The price was usually increased and so on. However, with the John Lewis offer we purchased the latest OLED version, as well as additional Joy-Cons and three games: Minecraft, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario 3D World (with Bowser's Fury). It's as well-designed as I'd expect and the games are as amazing as I would have expected from Nintendo.



We made it clear that this would be the family Switch so that his little brother and dad (and dad!) could play. could play, but he wouldn't claim the box as his. When we unveiled the box it was bouncing around the living room with the biggest smile on his face. I was ecstatic to play with it but that was nothing compared to the joy it brought him.
