One of essentially the most unique issues about Kingswood College is the truth that we have a Pre-Primary, Junior and Senior School. Yesterday our Junior pupils came over to the “BIG” college to be shown a factor or two about being a scientist by our Senior Pupils. The Kingswood Debating Teams engaged in an epic K-Day Debate on Tuesday night.
Marion island on the bucket listing for certain. One of essentially the most wonderful trips I have ever accomplished, so properly planned and professionally carried out. Thanks to organisations like BirdLife SA our youngsters and their youngsters will learn to appreciate the incredible number of birds we've in SA. “…Creativity is the key sauce to science, know-how, engineering, and math…” Last week the Junior Engineers for Africa held an invasion at Kingswood College. For the period of the week they opened our pupil’s eyes to new methods of pondering, robotics and engineering methods. Congratulations to our U15A water polo girls who led to 7th/20 position on the Shaun Fuchs Tournament hosted by Crawford College this final weekend.
The programme included the String Ensemble, First Band, Concert Band, Saxonettes and six Marimba Groups. It was all about giving everybody an opportunity to carry out after such a long time. 18 of our pupils received their DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) diploma which is internationally recognised, and awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify candidates’ proficiency in French.
So glad that I can say “we had been amongst the privileged few” to embark on this superior “Flock to Marion”. Thank you BLSA, MSC and all those involved in making it occur in spite of all of the obstacles thrown in your means. Sadly needed to miss this journey, but was on the 2017 Flock which was the expertise of a lifetime. This was probably the most amazing journey for birding that I really have ever accomplished.
