Minecraft ditches Super Duper graphics plan

Minecraft will keep its block-based design for the foreseeable future , as plans to revamp its graphics are cancelled.
Mojang is a Minecraft developer, announced that it had halted development on the Super Duper graphics package for the game.
The pack would have provided realistic lighting effects, textures, and overall better graphics.
The program has been deemed "too technically demanding" so it was discarded.
'Disappointing'
The plan to make Minecraft appear more realistic was unveiled in 2017 at the E3 games show. The goal was to create a downloadable add-on that completely replaces the blocky, basic look of the game's hugely popular.
In 2017, Mojang said its work also included an add-on for the Xbox version of Minecraft that let the game run at a resolution of 4K on the console.
The Super Duper addon was originally planned to launch in the fall of 2017. i'm just here to blog However the release date was moved to 2018. It was then cancelled entirely in 2019.
It apologized for the technical demands of the update.
It also said: "We realise this is disappointing to some of you. There was a lot of enthusiasm for Super Duper from inside and outside the studio - however, we're not happy with how the pack performed across devices."
Mojang said it wasn't yet done with the improvement of the appearance of Minecraft on various gaming devices and promised to release more information about this work in the near future.
