Holophone: Amazon claims it will launch a 3D handset with a "hologram display" in June
Rumored to show images that appear to float above the screen like Holograms' a phone

Amazon is working on a phone which will come with a 3D glass-free screen. It is expected to be released in June.
According to Wall Street Journal reports, the phone will utilize retina tracking technology to make images on the smartphone's screen appear to 'float above it like a Hologram and appear three-dimensional from all angles'
According to the report, the phone will be announced in June and then launched in September.

Average price of paid games is $1.85
This would pit it directly against Apple's new iPhone 6, which is also expected to be available in September.
KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also believes that the company will launch a phone.

He recently wrote that he believes Amazon (US) would launch its own smartphone in 3-6 months using the same strategy for hardware for its tablet and e-reader.
The supply chain will begin with the stocking of materials in Q2 2014 in preparation for production.'
This comes just a few weeks after Fire TV, an internet-connected set-top box that doubles up as a games console, was launched by the company.
The box lets users download TV and film shows and apps.
To play games, users can use a remote or buy a separate game controller for $40.
Mike Frazzini, from Amazon Games said that every game will be priced the same as a smartphone app with an average price of $2.

The $99 price tag is targeted at Roku and Amazon's offerings, and Google's Chromecast.
The company has stated that it plans to add more services in the future.
Amazon already offers on-demand TV shows and movies for free to customers who are members of Amazon's premium shipping service Prime, in both the UK and the US.
In 2011, speculation began about Amazon smartphones.
