AMA Responses 01

I have received many responses to my Ask Me Anything request. Every Little Helps Certain questions can be answered in a matter of minutes while others require a full post.



Here are a few of the answers that don't need their own post:



Nicolas asked what's the origin of your blog's logo?



There is no story that can be told. I wanted a logo that was a simple monogram of my initials but I was unable to make K & Q look good together. I engaged a Fiverr freelancer to design it.



Thelma asked"What do you think makes you optimistic about the future?



It's not all that much. The world is heading to hell, mortgages are on the rise, the world is becoming more hotter. Overpopulation is growing worse and as a result we're running out of resources.



These are the reasons my wife and I decided to adopt instead of having biological children. I am worried about how the next generation is going to cope.



Joel asked: Joel, I don't see much videogame discussion in your posts. Are you not interested? What about your kids?



Gaming isn't something I'm interested in since I don't have the time. I play Sudoku and some Among Us on my phone from time to time however that's all. I do have an Xbox, but I don't remember the last time I switched it on.



I play Minecraft with my oldest son, but it's extremely rare since I don't have much spare time these days.



Joel also asked what hat you would wear for the rest of you life?



I'm not a fan of hats; they don't suit me (I have a huge head). It would be my helmet for motorbikes, so I could be on my bike all day.



Are you an act of cheating?



Dusan asked: How do you balance your responsibilities between work, family, and hobbies like Fosstodon? Are you a very organized person or do you tend to be more chaotic and have to figure things out on the in the moment?



On a related note, what kind of music do you listen to?



I'm a very organised person. I don't like letting things go. I like to do the job. So I jump in and start working, and if I make a mistake along the way, I can always go back and rectify them.



However, I am restricted in my free time. What free time I do have, I try to make sure to spend it away from computers completely - usually, it's outside, like walking the dogs or riding my motorbikes. It is important to take time to relax.



Music is my favourite genre. Classic rock, like Lynyrd Skynyrd and Toto, Rolling Stones and AC/DC. Some pop, indie, and everything in between. I don't really like any kind of music. This would be doing music disservice. If I love a song I love it. No matter what genre.
