WRUP All DPS Players Are Sharks Edition

It's time for us to reveal a fact that many MMO players don’t yet know: All DPS players can be considered sharks. If you're wondering why many DPS seem to be addicted to the sound of the holy "GOGOGO," it's because slowing down for just one minute means that these players will be dead. They must keep killing and swimming. This is what MMOs can do to sharks. It's not necessary to ask how sharks play or type. The rogue who doesn't wait for the healer, tank or any other DPS cannot help but do what he does. He is a shark.



One of the Massively staff members could be a shark, but I'm unable to confirm or deny it. Perhaps he or she reveals his or his or her status as sharks in this week's WRUP or it's just a normal review of our weekend plans like we do every week. We won't know until you've read the following section. However you can let us know by letting us know what you're doing.



@Beau_Hindman I'm definitely going to play more State of Decay. It is a fantastic single-player game and easily one of my top games. For MMORPGs I'm testing the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness I'll be playing the latest patch for DC Universe Online, and I'll also be getting some action in Neverwinter, which I think is one of the best-looking and -sounding MMOs out there right now.



@nbrianna It's going to be entertaining!



@Eliot_Lefebvre @Eliot_Lefebvre World of Warcraft is currently my favorite side game. While there are aspects that I'm not thrilled with, it's still something I enjoy. Beyond that, there's going to be more Final Fantasy XIV questing to do and various endgame shenanigans to participate in, which is why that will be my main focus.



@Sypster: I don't think I have any big plans for the weekend. I'm in pre-launch countdown mode for Lord of the Rings Online: Helm's Deep, so I'll likely try to run some more scenarios in The Secret World and perhaps play around with this World of Warcraft thing the youngsters are all over these days.



@mvmatt: My weekend plans include schoolwork, soup and, if I'm lucky -- some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online, to remind myself of the reasons why it was shut down and to remember the amazing things that nearly kept me there until the servers end next month. Apart from that I'd love to return to Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World. I've neglected these games for a while. Maybe, just maybe I could stop some of the fools on Battlefield 4.



@MikedotFoster: This weekend I'm looking into the Three Spirits Dota 2 update. I'll also be returning to World of Warcraft; that Warlords of Draenor announcement has me all excited again.



@MJ_Guthrie: I plan to concentrate most of my gaming time (and I'll be playing regardless, sickness be darned!) I am trying to do more in the Secret World's war on Filth. I am a sucker for that pet and that bee suit so badly that even though I don't think there is any way I can get enough tokens, I am still determined to do my best! Did I mention I am stubborn? When I'm not working, I'll be playing a few scenarios and trying out new designs. SERVER TRACKER I will also be trying different races to be my new Channeler in EverQuest II. It has been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. After that, it'll take me just 30 hours to customise the appearance. Oh wait, then there's the name thing...



@RichieProcopio: This weekend I'll be intoxicated and hallucinating. No I'm not going to a frat party; I'll be paying the tower of nightmares an appearance in Guild Wars 2 and see what Scarlet and her new serpentine comrades have been up to in Kessex Hills. Oh and Hearthstone!
