Free Mario download for Minecraft players

Mario is making his official Minecraft debut by jumping from one computer-generated world to the next.
A new update for the Wii U version will bring Mario, Luigi and Wario, Toad and Princess Peach, as well as numerous other Super Mario Bros characters, to the game from next Tuesday.
The best part is that these colorful characters are free in this age of costly downloadable content.

The Mario pack will add more than just characters to the pixelated world Minecraft.
You can also change the game's items and textures, and fight harder versions of Hammer Bros. or Dry Bones. All the while listening to the soothing sound effects of Super Mario 64.
Fans will be able to create their own locations with Mario-themed Minecraft blocks. Then, they can explore new worlds by using classic characters from one of history's most loved games (albeit a bit more sharp).
A disc-based Minecraft for Wii U version, including all Mario extras will be released in June.
Minecraft is the third-most-sold video game in the world, with more than 70 million copies sold.
