Minecraft maestro Markus Persson recently updated his blog with a progress report on his new studio, Mojang Specifications and information about the upcoming Halloween update to the game. He also notes that Mojang has found a facility and has now added six employees comprising three programmers, a pixel artist, a CEO and a business developer.
For the Halloween update, Persson says it will include six new types of blocks with five of them having "unique capabilities." A new monster, a brand new dimension as well as portals will be added. Persson stated in a tweet that the portals will eventually be able to link to different Minecraft servers, although this feature isn't expected to be in place in the near future.

So, can monsters make use of portals? If yes, then we should not create an interdimensional monster funnel that is directly connected to the fortress of another player. So please feel free to invite us to a game and leave us alone in the back room for a short period of time ... okay?
