Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his loving parents. He is the child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed down to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is comprised of all members of the family. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the most revered pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM), where many gospel musicians are among the best-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow the path of her father of preaching the Gospel of God to the world. Also known CSO she is a Grammy-winning gospel artist and a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College. He then received a scholarship to study architecture in Bendel State University. The Man of God started what would become one of the largest churches in the world when he was still a student at a university. It began with a small prayer group called "Youth for Christ," which later grew into the most popular organizations of its type on campus. It would later serve as the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers across the world.

Under the leadership of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa, 24 hours a day, via free-to-air networks. There are currently LoveWorld television stations available across satellite and cable networks across the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. Two Healing Schools are situated in South Africa and Canada. There, Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions that allow the manifestation of miracles.

The Man of God created a number of NGOs to provide essential services and provide hope for the poor, in need and neglected. COFI is a partnership with five other organizations that have a common goal of raising living standards in the most underdeveloped areas.

COFI is responsible for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) in addition to the Bible For All Mission. Each organization works to improve health, lives and spirits for those most in need.

The charity also provides assistance for children who are in need.
