Chris: The Pastor Chris"The" Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a family of faith with loving, committed parents. He is the youngest son of elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the pioneers at the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of Oyakhilome's Oyakhilome family, who imparted her faith in God's grace to her son at a very young age.

The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the revered pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by the name of CSO she has chosen to follow in the footsteps of her father by sharing the gospel of God the world. She is an accomplished gospel artist, a Grammy-award winning singer and an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he earned an BSc. in Architecture, as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. Additionally, he holds an honorary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. He was at Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to be a minister and servant of the Lord.

The Man of God, while still a student at university started what would eventually become one of the most important church in the world. A small group of prayer called Youth for Christ’ was formed. A passionate philanthropist, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) which is a non-profit, non-governmental organization with the aim of helping the most vulnerable people as well as communities in the most deprived regions and countries in the world.

The Man of God established NGOs to deliver vital services and hope to the needy, poor and uninformed. COFI has five partners who support it, each of whom is committed to improving the standard of living in the remotest regions.

COFI is accountable for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) in addition to the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve the health, lives and spirits for those most in dire need.
