Chris Oyakhilome Biography: The Man, The Mentor, The Teacher and The Philanthropist

Pastor of the faith, a heaver of faith, TV host, author Chris Oyakhilome. In addition to the people who follow him, Pastor Chris is the leader of the organization, founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated. His unique way of telling the Word of God has inspired millions across the globe.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, who was raised by a loving family and was supported by his parents. He is the oldest son born to the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her divine grace on her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the most revered minister of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) which is where numerous gospel artists are among the top-selling artists worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon chose to follow her father's example of sharing the Word of God with the world. Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization), she is a talented gospel singer and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained an BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He has an honorary divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He was called from God to enter the ministry and serve the Lord.


Pastor Chris: The Mentor
The Man of God started what would be one of the biggest churches in the world while the man was still at the university. He had the small group of prayer known as "Youth for Christ," which eventually evolved into one of the largest organization of its kind on campus and would serve as the basis of the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers across the world.

Under Pastor Chris's guidance Under the guidance of Pastor Chris, the LoveWorld ministry was an innovator in satellite television and Christian programming and production. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station from Africa across the world, 24/7 via free-toair networks. Today, there are LoveWorld television stations on cable and satellite networks around the globe.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria. The ministry also has two Healing Schools located in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris leads seasonal sessions, where miracles are possible.

Music as well as Gospel Music are also an integral part of worship. Pastor Chris supports Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir to train. Many of these singers are successful soloists under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's supervision.

The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is an organization that strives to carry on the inspirational work of Pastor Chris. It's aimed at developing and recognizing young leaders, and preparing them to be successful in the years to come. International events and conferences are arranged by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. They brings together thousands of Christians across the globe. As one of the most well-known and influential pastors across all of Nigeria and the world the teachings of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome will continue to inspire and move souls for decades to come.

Pastor Chris is also a prolific writer, having written hundreds of devotionals and books. His most well-known publication is Rhapsody of Realities the daily devotional prayer study guide that provides inspirational insights into the powerful Word of God. Rhapsody of Realities is available in a variety of languages around the world and has been distributed to millions of people.

Alongside his writings and sermons, many of Pastor Chris's sermons, prayers and sermons are accessible online through Pastor Chris Digital Library. The library provides access to hundreds of thousands of hours of audio and video recordings in a variety of languages.

A philanthropist who was passionate Pastor Chris Oyakhilome founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) COFI, a non-profit, non-governmental organization with the aim of helping the most vulnerable people as well as communities in the poorest countries and regions in the world.

In addition to preaching the Gospel In addition, the Man of God has also established a number of NGOs with the a mission of delivering vital aid and hope to in need, the poor and lost souls. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Five partners are part of COFI and are working to improve the living conditions in the poorest areas.

COFI's umbrella covers the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups strives to improve wellbeing, health and spirits of those who are most vulnerable.

The charity also provides food for indigent children. Pastor Chris believes in building strong communities by encouraging good governance and accountable leadership. As per the Sustainable Development Goals, Pastor Chris is also an advocate for sustainable development in Africa as well as other vulnerable areas of Africa through COFI.
